Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to your use of ScreenSafe. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms.
Using ScreenSafe
ScreenSafe helps suggest and apply redactions to screenshots and photos. Use of ScreenSafe is at your own risk. You are responsible for reviewing the entire result before saving or sharing it. Automatic detection is a helpful first pass and is not guaranteed to find every private detail or apply every redaction perfectly.
No compliance or security guarantee
ScreenSafe is not a legal, security, identity-theft-prevention, or compliance guarantee. It does not guarantee that every private detail will be detected, hidden, or made safe to share.
Pro purchases
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase. Monthly Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that renews until cancelled. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. You can manage or cancel Monthly Pro in your Apple ID subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
Apple terms
Where applicable, use of ScreenSafe is also subject to Apple’s Standard EULA and App Store terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use ScreenSafe for unlawful activity, harassment, doxxing, infringement, or violation of another person’s rights. You are responsible for the images you process and share and for having the right to use them.
Intellectual property
The ScreenSafe app, name, branding, design, and original software are owned by the developer or applicable licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Children
ScreenSafe and its website are not directed to children under 13. The website does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not provide accounts, profiles, messaging, user-generated content, ads, analytics, or tracking. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided personal information, they can contact niclasmerz200@gmail.com.
Disclaimer
ScreenSafe is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of perfect detection, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of ScreenSafe, including missed redactions or content shared by a user. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date will be changed when updates take effect. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply.
