Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 28, 2026

ScreenSafe is designed to process selected images privately on your device. This policy explains what the app handles and the choices available to you.

No account or backend account

ScreenSafe does not require or create a user account. There is no ScreenSafe backend service for app data, backend account, or account profile to delete.

Images and photo access

ScreenSafe processes only images you select. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded to ScreenSafe or a developer-operated server. ScreenSafe does not store original unredacted images.

If local history is enabled, it stores only redacted safe-copy thumbnails or previews on your device. These previews are limited in number and remain local.

Local app data and deletion

Usage counters, app settings, cached files, and optional redacted history remain on your device. ScreenSafe does not create user accounts. To remove local app data, use Settings → Delete Local Data. App Store purchases are managed by Apple and can be restored through the App Store.

Purchases

In-app purchases use Apple StoreKit and are handled by Apple. ScreenSafe does not receive your full payment card or bank details. Apple’s own terms and privacy practices apply to App Store transactions.

Analytics, tracking, and sale of data

ScreenSafe does not use third-party analytics, sell personal data, or track users across apps or websites. The ScreenSafe website has no analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies.

Children

ScreenSafe is not directed to children under 13.

Your questions and requests

Because ScreenSafe does not operate user accounts or an image backend, most app data is controlled directly on your device. For privacy questions or requests, email niclasmerz200@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the effective date will change when we do.
