What does ScreenSafe do?

ScreenSafe helps detect private details in a selected screenshot or photo, lets you review and adjust suggested redactions, and creates a flattened safe export copy.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded to ScreenSafe or a developer-operated server.

Do I need an account?

No. ScreenSafe does not create user accounts.

Does ScreenSafe store my original images?

No. ScreenSafe does not store original unredacted images. Optional local history contains only redacted thumbnail previews.

Is detection perfect?

No. Automatic detection is a helpful first pass, not a guarantee. Always review the full image before sharing.

What can ScreenSafe detect?

ScreenSafe helps detect names and other text patterns, emails, phone numbers, faces, payment-card-like numbers, IBANs, web addresses, and some identifiers. Results vary by image.

What is free?

Free users can create 1 black-bar export per day.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro unlocks unlimited exports, Blur, Pixelate, and Hide All without a daily limit.

How do I restore purchases?

Open ScreenSafe and choose Settings → Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel Monthly Pro?

Manage or cancel Monthly Pro in your Apple ID subscription settings. Monthly Pro renews until cancelled.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Use Settings → Delete Local Data. This removes local history, usage information, cached files, and app settings. There is no account deletion because ScreenSafe does not create an account. App Store purchases are managed by Apple and can be restored.
